This Geocache has been placed with the very kind permission of The North West Forestry Commission. The Geocache is doubled up & contains a log book & pencil with a few swaps.
Blengdale is a very popular forest for walkers with & without dogs, horse riders, cyclists & runners. Car parking is available alongside the Geocache but the road from Gosforth to Blengdale is narrow so please drive carefully. There is no vehicular access past this point. The forest track is suitable for prams. The River Bleng runs alongside the cache location so will be a welcome spot for any thirsty Geohounds wanting to stop & enjoy the facilities.
