Heading down the track after another visit to Horokaka, this area reminded me, our first trip when we came face to face with a baby billy goat not so gruff...
Danger:Wear bright clothing, I have often come across heavily armed hunters in the area, and according to DoC that includes poachers....
Tracks: No need to bush bash, just off the track
Parking: Tangihua Forest access @ Omana Road – Please wash your footwear at the gate – last park with out Kauri die back
Timing: Day time only, access road through private land
Cache: small, just above GL behind
