Geocache Description:

Enfield town park is situated in Enfield Town, it is 9.5-hectare park, has two playgrounds, a splash area, tennis courts, basketball and 5 aside areas.  There is plenty of green open spaces.  The park was opended in 1902 and is well used today.  The new river runs through the back of the park and to the right of it.  There is a small wetland area which is visited by Herons and Kingfishers as well as the usual waterfoul.

A nice way to spend a couple of hours, either walking round the park, or making use of the tennis, basketball or five a side courts. This cache is hidden on the island on the boating pond, close to the waters edge but you will not get your feet wet.
