Lost Soles - Not Gaudy, It's Stylish! Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

iowaPete: Sometimes, you pick a great spot for a cache and excitedly wait to the reactions of cachers who find it. [:)]

Then, occasionally, you run into a hide that is a constant source of problems. THIS cache just can't seem to stay put. So, instead of continuing to beat my head against the wall. I'm gonna stop. This is just not a great location to place a cache. Time to archive it.

Ahhhhhh. My headache is already going away! [:P]

Thanks to everyone who came out and chased this one. Hopefully, I'll be able to place a new one nearby that works better.

Stay tuned....

iowaPete [:D]

Geocache Description:

These caches are inspired by a geocacher from the Rockford, IL area. Thanks, tishman for a fun series to chase. I hope these hides live up to the original series. Yes, you're looking for a "lost SOLE." Each cache is attached in some fashion to something that IS a fashion, and placed with kids in mind.

I'm not sure if Effie Trinket would have worn this particular lost sole, but I'm sure she would've thought it was FABULOUS!

All are placed along the Heritage Trail with the approval of Mr. Brian Preston, Executive Director, Dubuque County Conservation. There is a small trail pass fee of $2.10 for a day. It's a small expense, considering the fun that's in store for you!

Good luck and have fun...

Thanks to Blacktop guy for the cache container!
