Lost Soles - Kid's Canoe Kick Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

iowaPete: Well, it turns out that the beacon for the cache was untouched by the recent trail work. But....

The cache was missing. Since this would've been the third replacement of the container, and lost soles only come in pairs, I decided it was time to archive this cache.

Big thank you to everyone who came out and chased this. I hope you enjoyed. Stay tuned for a new cache nearby!

Geocache Description:

These caches are inspired by a geocacher from the Rockford, IL area. Thanks, tishman for a fun series to chase. I hope these hides live up to the original series. Yes, you're looking for a "lost SOLE." Each cache is attached in some fashion to something that IS a fashion, and placed with kids in mind.

The photo on this cache page is perfect evidence to show that you're never too young to start interacting with nature. This lost sole reinforces the idea, whether it's canoeing or geocaching!

All are placed along the Heritage Trail with the approval of Mr. Brian Preston, Executive Director, Dubuque County Conservation. There is a small trail pass fee of $2.10 for a day. It's a small expense, considering the fun that's in store for you!

Good luck and have fun...
