TIMING
The EVENT will officially last for 30 minutes, beginning at 6:00 pm and ending at 6.30 pm, but may last longer if folks want to stay on and enjoy some craic (Irish for: news, gossip, fun, entertainment, enjoyable conversation, etc.) together.
The ‘Flash Mob’ Element will take place FIRST, at the PUBLISHED COORDINATES, starting at 6:00 pm precisely and ending sharply at 6:15 pm.
Once the Flash Mob has ended, we’ll all move to a location nearby (see details below) until the event has officially ended or the last person has left!
ABOUT THE ‘FLASH MOB’
5:59 pm – Make your way to somewhere within sight of the designated Event Coordinates, but hold back from going there until 6:00 pm. Act like you know no one!
6:00 pm – A 'CONTAINER' will be placed at the designated coordinates. This will be the signal that the 'WWFM XIV – Belfast' Event has started. You can then converge on the meeting point to join in.
Individual ‘Paper Slips’ will be handed out, so please bring your own pen or pencil to sign, and then drop your ‘Signed Slip’ into the Container provided to enter the DRAW for the Event ‘First-to-Find’ Prize (see below).
You are also encouraged to SIGN the EVENT LOG BOOK to register your attendance at this event. Then you can mingle and chat with the other cachers who have gathered.
6:12 pm – Time to take a group photo of all ‘Attendees’ for this ‘Flash Mob’ Event.
6:15 pm – The 'Flash Mob' is over! Act like a MUGGLE, leave the area without drawing attention to yourself and move on to the NEXT STAGE … the secondary meeting point … outside McHugh’s Bar & Restaurant nearby!

NEXT STAGE
After the 'Flash Mob', the event will continue officially at the secondary meeting point until 6.30 pm but will most probably go on longer! This will provide an opportunity to engage in further geo-chat with other cachers, whilst also exchanging or discovering travel bugs and geocoins.
6:25 pm – The DRAW for the Event 'First-to-Find' [FTF] prize will take place.
6:30 pm – 'LOG ENTRIES' will be 'SEALED' and the Event ‘Officially CLOSED’ but participants are welcome to stay on and continue socialising, if they wish.
The 'First-To-Find' Prize is a 'WWFM XIV Event' Geocoin
WWFM – World Wide Flash Mobs are a fun and friendly way to promote GEOCACHING around the world, as well as introduce others (newbies) to the hobby. Thousands of geocachers, at hundreds of locations across the globe, will gather on this date, all at the same time.
Last year, 279 WWFM Events took place in in 27 Countries around the World with over 8,000 Geocachers meeting simultaneously! Check out the photos from these WWFM Events.
The Last WWFM to be held in this part of the country, was our WWFM XII – Seapark, Holywood Event, held on Saturday, 13th June 2015. There were no WWFM Events anywhere in Ireland in 2016!
We hope that this year's ‘WWFM XIV – Belfast’ Event will be well attended, with local geocachers and those from other parts of the world, joining up for a brief ‘Flash Mob’ gathering, followed by an ‘extended’ get-together.
