A Royal Marine Commando is expected to be trained, equipped and capable of fighting in any environment. On occasions, it may be necessary for you to enter or navigate through a confined space to help reach your objective or indeed even fight in same.
A confined space is an area that is not necessarily designed for people, but is large enough for workers to enter and perform certain jobs. A confined space also has limited or restricted means for entry or exit and is not designed for continuous occupancy. Confined spaces include, but are not limited to, tanks, vessels, silos, storage bins, hoppers, vaults, pits, manholes, tunnels, equipment housings, ductwork, pipelines, etc.
This cache has been placed in a 'confined space' in the Mourne Mountains.
There are numerous ways to approach this cache but the easiest is to park at the free car Park on the B27 Moyard Road at N 54° 07.542 W 006° 02.160 (waypoint added).
From there, follow the well defined track along Banns Road, heading NNE until you get to N 54 08.884 W 006 01.344 (waypoint added). Once there, turn right and follow the track and your GPSr out to GZ.

The co-ordinates will take you to the entrance of the 'confined space'. The cache CAN NOT be accessed from the outside, yes, that means you do have to go in to get it! The DT rating reflects the difficulty of the terrain/walk to GZ, accessing the 'confined space', finding the cache once inside and exiting the 'confined space'.

There is a reasonable amount of natural light inside the 'confined space' but a torch may be useful in assisting you with your search.

As with all caches in mountain areas, the weather can change suddenly so please ensure that you are dressed properly and prepared for all conditions. The Met Office Mountain Safety Page can be found at http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/guide/weather/mountain-video
The cache is a black watertight snaplock box (L 12.5cm / W 7.5cm / H 3.5cm) containing a logbook held within a further watertight micro sized container, a few pencils and some child/family friendly swaps which has been placed in line with the 'Leave No Trace' principles.
Please ensure that you replace all as found after recording your find for the next cacher to enjoy.
Have fun, good luck and enjoy!
