Placed at the eastern edge of the historic town of Hitchin.
Your access is via a well-defined track leading towards Purwell Meadows. In this area are the ancient reed beds fed by the nine springs, giving the area its name. Look out for a variety of geese on the adjacent fishing lake and numerous wildlife as detailed on nearby information boards.
You are looking for a medium-sized camouflage box, which is large enough to hold a log, trackables and swaps. There are some goodies and a travel bug to start you off.
