Geocache Description:

In the Sussex dialect a twitten is a narrow path between two walls or hedges. For example, small passageways leading between two buildings to courtyards, streets, or open areas behind. The word is commonly used in West and East Sussex, and also in Surrey.

This is a multi cache which takes you to four twittens in Hurstpierpoint where you have to collect some information to work out the final coordinates of the cache itself. It takes you on a walk through the centre of the village and will probably take about 30-45 minutes to complete, depending on how fast you walk. Parking is difficult in Hurstpierpoint, so I recommend that you park in the village car park in Trinity Road which is about 300m from Stage 1.

The final cache coordinates are N 50 55.8(A+B+C+D)(B+1) W 000 10.2(A+B+C-1)(B+C+D)

At each stage look around you and try to decide which three of the four photos you CAN see and which one you CANNOT see from that location. You may need to move a few feet from the location to check out the photos, but not much more than that. Use the letter and number of the photo which you cannot see and substitute it in the final cache coordinates. For example, at the first stage if you decide you cannot see picture A1, then A = 1.

The cache itself is a micro. Please make sure you return the cache to its hiding place as it is a popular place for walkers and can be quite busy.
