Welcome to our first Geocache trail.
It’s a small selection of 6 caches over around 1 mile and is aimed at younger children. The caches were planted on Easter Sunday 2017 by Abigail (5) and Millie(2) who are cousins.
All the caches should be easy to find, and the terrain for all should be ok for youngsters.
The trail takes in the beautiful scenery over the Stocksbridge valley, and gives you a great look at the semi-derelict steel works (some parts are still in use).
The trail starts on Underbank lane, and there is parking available here for a few cars, the trail ends just above Fox Valley and a small walk down the hill will lead you here, alternatively there are other trails at the end of the cache run (most notably the Steel Valley Project).
