We spotted the road sign across the street
“Custis Tomb”
And decided to check it out. Glad we did!
Just a few miles down Custis Tomb Drive you will find the
resting place of John Custis II and his grandson, John Custis IV.
The road can be a bit deceiving and the road to the tombs is on a hard
left hand turn, where you would keep straight instead of taking the turn.
