Mels, Melody Pond, Melody Malone, River Song... All one person. One of them kept a diary of her adventures with the Doctor. What better place for the diary of River Song to be hidden? There is a nice view of the river from the cache site.
There is a very faint and somewhat obscured deer trail to this cache during the growth season.
The terrain is based on the way I access the area. There are more difficult and more scenic ways to get where you are going. The shortest way I know of is a little less than a mile from parking. The cache is along the white trail which can be accessed a number of different ways
The choice is yours.

The Park
The Sweet Air Area is one of the largest sections of Gunpowder Falls State Park with 1,250 acres. There are approximately 18 miles of trails in this area of the park, yet every time I am there I feel like I have the park to myself. The Gunpowder River separates the Harford County side of the park from the Baltimore County side. Aside from the entrance to the park, there are no roads that interrupt this section of GFSP.
