This is the second of five caches placed on the slopes of Kindrogan Hill. The walk is along forest roads and footpaths (and within 10 to 15 metres of the track or path) but the footpaths are narrow and muddy in places so not suitable for wheelchairs or buggies. The caches all have quite specific hints so should be easy to find but the terrain underfoot can be quite tricky in places and boots are recommended. The caches are all placed on Forestry Commission ground and you should follow any signs and instructions they display.
Kindrogan estate was purchased by the Forestry Commission in 1960 and near here you will see the family or laird's graveyard that was used prior to that time and it is interesting to read the inscriptions on the stones. This cache is not placed inside or in the wall of the graveyard.
