Claythorpe is a small hamlet. It again has a disused railway line and station that closed in 1964. The manor house is a beautiful Grade 2 listed building. Claythorpe also has an 18th century watermill that was the last working watermill in
This walk is a long circular series linking up the villages of South Reston ,Withern, Claythorpe and Authorpe. It takes in some beautiful views and some historic places which we will explain en route. Some of the caches can be done as drive byes or on cycles and we do link up with existing caches in and around the villages. Due to the history all names are in keeping with the historic theme.
