While working with the BSA Artesia Troop 228 Geocache Merit Badge Workshop geocache in Southeastern New Mexico (GC71B9V), a granddaughter, member of GSA Troop 1217 located in Castroville, TX asked if I would also assist her in the education of her troop and placement of a Geocache so she and her troop mate could earn their GeoScouting Merit Badge as well.
Being almost 500 miles away, I emailed her a presentation of the ins and outs of caching.
She and her troop mate did their research, put together and made the presentation to their troop. Following the guidelines, put together a very well decorated cache container.
Placing the cache was where PopO 2 9 came back into the picture.
Easter weekend 2017, we placed the container with the precise coordinates.
They have named their cache “JULIETTE” in honor of the founder of Girl Scouts of America.
