Geocache Description:

You are searching for a regular size geocache container in a wooded/overgrown area.

GPS devices which rely upon triangulation instead of trilateration do not work well under the canopy of trees in this area.

Be cautious of things which sting, strike, bite or irritate.

While working with the BSA Artesia Troop 228 Geocache Merit Badge Workshop geocache in Southeastern New Mexico (GC71B9V), a granddaughter, member of GSA Troop 1217 located in Castroville, TX asked if I would also assist her in the education of her troop and placement of a Geocache so she and her troop mate could earn their GeoScouting Merit Badge as well.

Being almost 500 miles away, I emailed her a presentation of the ins and outs of caching.

She and her troop mate did their research, put together and made the presentation to their troop. Following the guidelines, put together a very well decorated cache container.

Placing the cache was where PopO 2 9 came back into the picture.

Easter weekend 2017, we placed the container with the precise coordinates.

They have named their cache “JULIETTE” in honor of the founder of Girl Scouts of America.

JULIETTE GORDON LOW

In 1912, Juliette Gordon Low (1860–1927) founded Girl Scouts of the USA, an organization that today serves millions of girl members and alumnae, and reflects the arc of her remarkable life.

An ardent believer in the potential of all girls and the importance of fostering their individual growth, character, and self-sufficiency, Juliette is credited with establishing and nurturing a global movement that has changed the world.
