This is the eleventh installment in the series of the "Caching Drives Success." Some cachers have *drive*. They need to find a cache every *day*. Caches are the fuel for their success and they gobble them up like Pac Man gobbles up energy pellets.
Success Factor: Grit
Successful people are tough and determined. They are rock hard in their determination. Passion drives them to succeed, and this comes through in their hobbies as well as in their work. They are not content with the easy way. Instead, they seek to challenge themselves – both physically and mentally - whenever possible. The gritty cacher appreciates the challenge of finding a cache that others may hesitate to hunt and never flinches from taking the rocky road to success.
This cache is hidden along the Westover Greenbelt bike trail (WGT) in Westover Park. For most of the way this is a relatively easy walk over paved terrain and mowed grass without nasty plants. Exercise caution over the last few feet of your approach to ground zero, or you may end up with an invigorating swim in the creek..
You may choose to hike or bike the greenbelt. Parking is available at the northwest and southeast ends and the midpoint of the trail. Street parking is prohibited on the east side of the street. The park closes from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. under City Ordinance #3617. All dogs must be controlled by leash (under the same ordinance).
The cache container is a well hidden tiny black bison tube. Bring your own writing instrument. Please rehide it well to maintain the same level of difficulty for everyone.
