from parking place, it is several hundered yards up thrugh a sagebrush hillside. Kind of steep in places but my small kids made it with no problem.
From Dayton Idaho, there is a canyon called Five mile heading straight west out of town. Follow for about 2 miles and the road turns into a "Y" turn left and there is a flat grassy spot surrounded by sagebrush. Park here. This is called the turkey shoot by the locals, and the hill to the west is called lead hill. it is a short walk ,but sort of steep' to the west southwest. you are going to find a 3 gallon yellow bucket by a juniper tree on the crown of the hill.( see Bottom)
All the kids put in something
they thought it was a cool idea.
we have 54 magic cards, a pint of service Berry syrup."they were picked in the same canyon" A pog, Archery Video, Boy scout patch, Bookmark, Poke'mon cards, and a kalydoscope.
on Aug 16 2003 we switched the container to a green ammo can because we were getting to many non geocachers running on to it, and vandelizing. hope this will help
June 25 2005 Moved cache about 150 yards but now it is much less of a climb, and now people have to find it again.
