Years ago, this was the location of the Kutztown Area High School. After the present high school was built, the building was used as a junior high until the current middle school came into being. In the late 1970's, the old high school was demolished; the land was sold as building lots. The artifact you are looking at is all that remains of the old school. Or all that remains above ground, I should say.
This cache is a NANO. There is no need to leave the sidewalk, but be careful as there are often plenty of muggles walking to school.
The cache is on the owners' property, so if you see one of us, just wave and say hi! Bring your own pen. An extraction device like tweezers might come in handy, too. PLEASE REPLACE AS FOUND! Congrats to diggyrock on the first to find!
NOTE! This cache very small and as such, tweezers can definitely help to remove the log and roll it back up. No worries if you can't extract the log, just send me a photo of the cache container and you're good to go!
