This cache is located at Greenwood Farm, owned by the Trustees of Reservations. The reservation takes its name from Thomas S. Greenwood who built the 19th-century white farmhouse. To its rear, the Paine House (1694), a yellow clapboard saltbox, is a remarkable example of First Period (1620–1725) architecture. The Paine House is available by appointment only.
This cache was hidden by the Town of Ipswich Open Space Program MassLIFT-AmeriCorps member, with the assistance of two Ipswich High School students.
