Welcome to the sunny Okanagan for another fun-filled day of caching on Saturday 12th of August! We hope you enjoy the variety of places that our caches will take you to and that there’s something for every cacher!
We will start the day with a meet and greet, which will be held at the gazebo at Mission Creek Park, Kelowna. It will start at 8:00 AM and run until 9:00 AM. At this time you can mingle with other cachers, exchange war stories, get hints on those evil micros that you just can’t find or ways to solve those cunning puzzles. You will be able to trade or discover any TBs that happen to stop on by.
You will also get the coordinates of OCF VII caches. These will be available in either a print format and/or a GPX file to download. There will be a charge of $10 per person or $15 per family to cover the costs of the day. Please don’t leave the Meet & Greet until the official start.
Following the fun day of Geocaching that we know you’re going to have, come back to the gazebo at Mission Creek Park for a family BBQ consisting of hot dogs, chips and pop or water. This will be included in the fee for the day. You may also bring your own food to cook on the BBQ if you prefer. The BBQ will run from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
If you are interested in hiding caches for this event you must contact the organizers for a list of details.
