This is a traditional geocache hidden behind the Dukesmeadows estate, which was traditionally part of the Kilkenny Castle grounds (the "Duke's Meadow"). The cache is along the Nore Valley Linear Walk and can be accessed from the Castle Rd/Bennettsbridge Rd either by using the pedestrian lane opposite the BlackQuarry petrol station, or by using the drivable lane in between Dukesmeadows and the Castle grounds, and parking in the small carpark at the end.
