~~Happy Earth Day 2017!!~~

Putting some more caches out for our Earth Day In The Park Event...

The story behind this cache is that there used to be one here... and it just happened to be our very first find.. ever.  The girls were super wee and turned out we had to wait a few years before they were old enough to really get into the hiking behind caching.  We had a different caching name back then but it was the beginning of all the crazy adventures we have had so far.. We have cached in 12 states,  made a mecca to Mingo for the Anniversary Bash, the wees were the youngest to complete the MN Star GeoArt (on foot.. 2 days, 25 miles hiked at the ages of 10 and 11). We have cached amongst wolves, moose, bear, toooooo many ticks and mosquitoes and the occassional sasquatch. We have been pulled over for going in reverse in a state forest (long story, bored sheriff), we spent a day in a canoe on a river on a spirit quest, we have bushwhacked more than taking the trail.. and all in search of the ever ellusive smiley on the map. What adventures has caching taken you on?
