The Butterfly

 Look, a butterfly.
Did you make a wish?

You don't wish on butterflies.

You do so.
Did you make one?

Yes.

It doesn't count.

 From the time that I entered high school, and through my adult life, I had a friend who loved butterflies. Everyone gave her butterfly trinkets, jewelry and just about anything with butterflies on it.  My friend passed a few years back.  Shortly after, I found geocaching and a few new friends.   While hiking I always seem to see at least one butterfly, to which I say, "Hello Debbie".   I believe that she has lead me to find these great ladies - TheMasses and MontaukJen!  And they point out "Debbie" to me if I don't see her first.  I am thankful for the friendships past and present.  I could not have wished friends like these!
