Geocache Description:

Stithians Dam, between Camborne and Falmouth.

Stithians Dam is a reservoir operated by South West Water and managed by the South West Lakes Trust. It was constructed in 1967 and provides water to West Cornwall. It is reputed to be the windiest inland water in England. There is a 6.25 mile (10 km) walk that goes around the reservoir.

Free parking is available at the dam (N50° 11.039' / W005° 11.721' (WGS84)), it is signposted from the village of Stithians. From the centre of the dam the cache is about a 1.2 km walk clockwise around. The cache is in a 1.8 litre clear plastic container.
