Summary: The Basic Idea

WWFM XIV - World Wide Flash Mob coordinated events (see growing bookmark list)
Thousands of geocachers at hundreds of events all around the globe, gathering at the same time

Meet at the Balboa Park Fountain (at 10am) for instructions and preparation.
We will have a VERY SPECIAL GUEST at our event: SIGNAL the FROG!

Please dress in GREEN, bring along any sort of FROG you have, or anything that goes with the FROG theme! Have FUN with it, and get ready to WELCOME the famous SIGNAL the FROG to America’s Finest City!

Bring the biggest, largest, most conspicuous camera you can get your hands on. We are going to be the PAPARAZZI as SIGNAL enters the area. Bring an autograph book and pen if you have one.

IN ADDITION, we have ANOTHER BIG SURPRISE for this event: LAB CACHES! As the “founding event” for the WWFM worldwide phenomenon, Geocaching HQ has given us the ability to create some LAB CACHES for this event. Be sure to come to this unique WWFM event to get the exclusive LAB CACHE smileys!

We are returning to where it ALL STARTED 10 years ago (May 2007) at the Fountain. You won’t want to miss this event!!

The Plan

The event will begin precisely at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 10 and will last 30 minutes.
An Orange Bucket placed on ground zero will signal the start of the event!!!
The event will be facilitated by volunteers. If you'd like to be a WWFM volunteer, please contact us (podcacher@gmail.com) and let us know.

Prior to the start time, mosey and wander about non-challantly ... Then when the bucket is set down ... converge on Ground Zero!

YOU WILL NEED A PEN or PENCIL to sign a log sheet.

There will be an event "meal", trackables box for trading, a raffle for very cool prizes and a group photo.

ADD this event to your watchlist for more detailed information!
