Enjoyable hill walking experience and lovely location for stargazing!
A wee camo box containing a few swaps. The cache title was based on the fact that I love to come up here during the summer evenings to wonder at the Galaxy above. I sometimes bring a camera and tripod to photograph the Milky way, or, even capture an image an elusive meteor. A fabulous sight! It is also possible to get a really great view from the stile below (a bit safer also) I have included (on this listing) a couple of pictures that I was lucky enough to 'capture' p.s. If you are intending a late evening walk on these hills, be aware of the many potential hazards. Always be prepared for any eventuality associated with hillwalking, parking, etc. Also, be aware that dogs are not allowed anywhere on the Cooley mountains. Muggles may be an issue as there will probably be quite a few walkers and groups hiking past, especially at weekends. Although out of sight, these caches are situated very close to the trail. Please leave the cache back exactly as found. Although, in saying this, any maintenance would be most welcome (many thanks in advance) Enjoy! Hearty congratulations to sgtzara on their FTF success! Can I just request that finders replace 'the trio' cover exactly as found (or even better) so that muggle potential is kept to a minimum. A wee bit off trail so should remain good to go. Enjoy!
