From the Fort Stevens Historical Site & Military Museum parking lot ($5 day use fee), head for Battery 245. If necessary, obtain a trail guide from the museum. The big gun (the one on the northwest side of the battery) points toward a fir tree in the distance. Go there. Continue walking letting your guidance machine lead the way.
Doesn’t appear to be a nano, but it is.
The log is in the vial. Bring your tweezers. BYOP.
Nota Bene: If you are caching in the late spring or early summer, mosquito repellent is highly recommended. They’re wicked this time of the year.
