Old Route 9 #1 Traditional Cache

It's fun driving along Route 9 and seeing all of the places where Route 9 was rerouted over the years. Here is one of the places where it is obvious what it used to be. 

A quick park and grab on a quiet road, where you can enjoy a babbling brook. Or you can turn and take a look at the busier, more modern road going by.

You are looking for a magnetic container in a usual sort of hiding place. It is possibly winter-friendly.

 From reviewing Vermont Agency of Transportation map archives it appears that this section of Route 9 was rerouted between 1963 and 1967.
