8-Bit Caching Rookies Mystery Cache

In the history of computer and video games, the third generation, referred to as the 8-bit era began on July 15, 1983, with the Japanese release of the 'Famicom', known as the Nintendo Entertainment System or the NES in the rest of the world.

This generation marked the transition from block-base graphics to smooth hardware scrolling tile and sprite based graphics, which was a pivotal leap in game design.

Mr Ewok from Nebraska created a cache in 2012 which pays tribute to this era of gaming. The now archived cache GC39Q00 8-bit caching is a 'gem' of a game that you must complete to discover the coordinates. The custom geocaching elements he created in the game made this a superb puzzle.

Mr Ewok kindly gave me permission to copy the base of his game. I tweaked his levels and added 3 new ones to create GC6QHW8 8-bit caching rebooted. The difficulty of that one was pushed into hyperdrive making it an elusive 5/5. As it's only been found once in over 2 years since it was published I have created this easier version for all to enjoy. Complete the 7 easy levels and the coordinates will be revealed.

UPDATE 01/01/21. Please note that Flash is no longer supported on a number of browsers however it is still working on Google Chrome following these steps. Click on the link above to go the site with the game. After it's loaded click on the lock icon to the left of the web address. Then click on Flash and chose Allow. Then follow the prompt to reload the page and start playing.
