Traveling from Mount Barker to Albany I decided to take a detour through Narrikup as I had not been through Narrikup before. Narrikup is a quiet little village whose name is thought to have originated from an Aboriginal name meaning "place of abundance". The townsite it self was surveyed and finally gazetted in 1907.
This is a traditional cache located just down the road from the Great Southern Railway line on Chorkerup road headed towards Albany Highway. Best to park back near the railway line and walk up to the cache which is a 200ml sistema container......
