Geocache Description:

Small magnetic cache, as part of A Fine Pair series. There is a small lay-by adjacent to the GZ, so can be used as a cache-and-dash. Please bring your own pen/pencil for log book

Number 820 in a series of caches where a red telephone box is in close proximity to a post box.

The only rules are that they have to be able to be photographed together, be not more than 100’ apart and the phone boxes have to be red.

The phone box has seen better days, and there appears to be a note in the phone box saying it will be removed at the end of 2016, yet it is still there when I start this cache in April 2017. Such a shame that it is left unused. Maybe it could be adapted for a better use. I've heard of some being made into small libraries for book sharing within the community.

If you are finding this cache during spring, I would highly recommend travelling a little further down the road towards Llancloudy and experiencing the amazing daffodils that line the roads. It really is a lovely sight.

The Fine Pair series was originally started by wizardsmum but is now managed by mattd2k

If anybody would like to place 'A Fine Pair' of their own please do. I would just ask that you first visit to request a number to avoid any duplication

mattd2k also keeps a public Bookmark List of this series. Once your cache is published please contact him via to have yours added
