Geocache Description:






This gadget cache is a little different from the others I have out there. It celebrates geocaching throughout the year in all four seasons. As with most gadget caches finding the cache is a piece of cake but getting to the log will be a whole different experience. The adventure will likely take you through all four seasons before you get to the log. Bring only a pencil or pen with you as the cache has everything you'll need to access the log.

If you visit this cache on snow please use skies or snowshoes as these trails are groomed for cross country skiing.

There are a number of parking options so don't forget to check out the additional waypoints for parking.  The parking lot at the aviation Mall and Parkview Ave are both plowed during the winter.  The one on Dixon Ave I don't know about.  And yes, the cache IS winter friendly.

There is a 7 foot chain link fence between the cache and the northway so the cache is not accessible from I87.

If you're having trouble and before you give up think about the magnetic properties of PVC.
