Holy Tree, Batman! Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

ShadowBeardie123: So I went to check on the cache to see how it survived the winter. I was surprised that I couldn't see it. So I returned with some tools, and discovered the rotten tree it was hidden in had been knocked over. I was able to recover the bison tube, which was nice. Fun while it lasted! Almost a year to the day! Now to find my next hiding spot. Thanks for playing everyone!

Geocache Description:

This is my first attempt at hiding a cache after two years of geocaching. Up to now, I've been practising getting accurate coordinates with my GPSr, and looking for possible cache sites.

I wasn't even aware this treed area was here until my wife suggested it as a possible cache site. Nice area to let geopup explore in.

We are planning on doing a cleanup in the area, as there is quite a bit of trash lying around.

This is a micro cache, camoed to its environment. Only room for a log, so bring a writing stick. Please exercise stealth, as there are some back yards close to GZ. As I was hiding the cache, one of the residents was watching me hide the cache, and asked me what I was doing. I explained geocaching to her, and showed her inside the cache container, to prove I wasn't hiding anything illicit.

Coordinates are an average of 3 attempts.
