This is #5 in NCT theme. It's in Lowell State Game Area. Parking @ NCT marker. Deep quiet woods. Narrow foot path.
If you are looking for a quiet place - - this is it. The cache is my usual 2# coffee can with a protective baggie over it. Beware of heavy tree canopy which may influence GPS. Just stay on trail -- there is a small meadow at cache site which will give acurate readings. Also in that same opening are many signs of Wild Turkey scrachings and feathers etc. Contents are: Two(2) maps of Yankee Springs Rec. Area and NCT routes through there which I have noted with a red pen.; map of NCT, 2 AA batteries, small box of wooden matches, book of matches from Reno, Nevada, Towlet packet, napkin from NORTH-west Airlines.
