The cache site can be approached from either the east or the west, on foot. There is convenient free parking within half a mile in both directions. The walk is along a pleasant canal towpath - you are likely to encounter walkers, joggers, cyclists, boats or fishermen along this stretch of the towpath. There is plenty of wildlife with an abundance of ducklings to admire in Springtime. The cache is hidden in a place which is opposite housing. This should be a simple find, especially if the hint is used. BYOP and tweezers may be helpful to extract the log.
