Geocache Description:


Sapperton Landing Park is a great little park tucked between the train tracks and the Fraser River, and under the Skytrain line.

This linear park was established in 2001 and was designed to feature the beauty and power of the mighty Fraser River. The park's environmental design include backwater tidal channels, riparian woodland filled with native plants to encourage salmon, bird, insect and wildlife habitats.

The park is a beautifully landscaped 1 km walk with bridges, benches, view points to watch tug boats and marine birds go about their day.

This cache is on a new trail that is an extension to the park with the ultimate goal of connecting it through the industrial park to Hume Park and the Brunette River trail.
