Сегодня Октябрьская площадь в Минске пустынна. Её пространство делят лишь Дворец Республики да снующая на его крыльце милиция. Как вышло, что горожане не обжили эту площадь, и она осталась парадной и псевдопубличной?

Неуютный уголок в центре столицы на протяжении 40 лет проектировали множество специалистов, а в итоге пришли к сомнительному ансамблю во главе с памятником модернизму из 1970-х. Этот ансамбль оказалось легко нарушить, что, впрочем, никак не повлияло на способ его использования жителями города.

Центральная площадь стала называться Октябрьской 23 февраля 1984 года. Этим жестом городские власти окончательно утвердили проект Дворца культуры БССР. С появлением основного общественного здания города, переименованного вскоре во Дворец Республики, должна была закончиться и мучительная история становления главной площади страны, которая длилась с окончания Второй мировой войны.

Наиболее любопытным искателям понравится эта история.

Описание тайника:

Микро-кэш спрятан в трубе под скамейкой с заданными координатам. Для того, чтобы микро-кэш не проваливался грубоко в трубу и его можно было оттуда доставать, он держится за край трубы канцелярской скрепкой.

Содержимое тайника:
Микро-артефакты, блог, карандаш.

Будьте осторожны, особо людное место! Поблизости огромное скопление других искателей, жаждущих опередить вас и захватить тайник первыми. Обязательно соблюдайте конспирацию. Ничто не должно выдавать ваших намерений. Смотрите по сторонам «в оба». Внимательно следите за всеми, кто смотрит на вас. Нельзя допустить, чтобы найденные сокровища попали в чужие руки! Как завещал автор, после открытия тайника ОЧЕНЬ ВАЖНО ВЕРНУТЬ ЕГО В ИСХОДНОЕ НЕВИДИМОЕ СОСТОЯНИЕ.

В случае разорения тайника бессовестными вандалами и грабителями, основанием для зачёта тайника найденным является его восстановление в соответствии с исходным описанием. В противном случае зачёт за взятие можно будет поставить только повторно посетив место и найдя восстановленный автором или другими искателями сокровищ. Проще: если обнаружили отсутствие тайника, но не хотите/не можете его восстанавливать = не ставьте его себе как найденный, а ставьте как "посещено" или укажите "тайник был разорен :(".

Today, the October Square in Minsk is deserted. Its space is divided only by the Palace of the Republic and the militia that rushes on its porch. How did it happen that the townspeople did not live this area, and it remained a ceremonial and pseudo-public? An uncomfortable corner in the center of the capital for 40 years designed a lot of specialists, and eventually came to a dubious ensemble, headed by a monument to modernism from the 1970s. This ensemble was easy to break, which, however, did not affect the way it was used by the residents of the city.

The central square was called Oktyabrskaya on February 23, 1984. With this gesture, the city authorities finally approved the project of the Palace of Culture of the BSSR. With the appearance of the main public building of the city, which was soon renamed the Palace of the Republic, the painful history of the country's main square, which lasted from the end of World War II, was to end.

Description of the cache:

  The micro-cache is hidden in the pipe under the bench with the given coordinates. In order for the micro-cache not to fall rudely into the pipe and it could be retrieved from there, it clings to the edge of the pipe with a paper clip.

Be careful, especially crowded place! Nearby is a huge cluster of other seekers, eager to get ahead of you and grab the hiding place first. Be sure to observe the secrecy. Nothing should give out your intentions. Look at the sides "in both". Watch out for everyone who looks at you. You can not let the treasure found fall into the wrong hands! As the author bequeathed, after the discovery of the hiding place, it is VERY IMPORTANT TO RETURN IT TO THE INITIAL INVISIBLE STATE.

In the case of a ruin of a cache by unscrupulous vandals and robbers, the basis for checking the cache is found to be its restoration in accordance with the original description. Otherwise, the offset for the capture can only be re-visited the site and found recovered by the author or other treasure hunters. It's easier: if you find the lack of a hiding place, but do not want / can not restore it = do not put it to yourself as found, but put it as "visited" or indicate "the cache was ruined :(".
