Sudoku Grid without Map HERE
As there are 81 zones, this cartridge has been programmed differently than you may have experienced. There are no zones to navigate to and there will be no zones shown in the cartridge until puzzle is solved and GZ zone is revealed. You will have to use the map above to see where all the zones are. You do not need to have the cartridge running continually, once you are in a zone, RESUME the cartridge to see the number for that zone.
Visit as many zones as you need to solve the Sudoku. Each player will receive their own individual Sudoku, so collaborating with others is futile, you will have to visit the Zones yourself. Do not restart the cartridge as it will generate a new puzzle for you, making your previous zone numbers useless.
There are only 3 buttons to use in the cartridge, they are in your INVENTORY, called SUDOKU COMMANDS
----- SHOW NUMBER : This shows the current zone, the number for this zone, distances to surrounding zones, and then numbers you have found. Use this button if you travel into a new zone with the cartridge running, as it does not auto-detect when you are in a zone.
----- ENTER SOLUTION : Once you have solved your Sudoku, use this button. You will have to enter the entire puzzle, line by line, and you will not be told if you are right or wrong until all 9 lines have been entered.
----- SAVE GAME : I advise you save the game after you have received the number.
REMEMBER to always RESUME the game when going back into the Wherigo. Upon resume, the cartridge will execute the SHOW NUMBER command automatically.
