Geocache Description:

A circular walk around the glorious Gaitbarrows Nature reserve. Most of the route is on paths and farm tracks and the caches can be done as individuals or as a series. This cache is a medium sized plastic container with a screw lid.


from Gaitbarrows Rock Outcrop carry on the paths in a Northerly direction toward the campsite and afterleaving the field turn East toward the farm. After the farm where stone pigs are to be seen on the gateposts turn South and take the farn track on the left after approx 50metres. carry on for approx 0.5 miles and take the footpath across the fields , crossing the Cumbria , Lancashire boundary at a bridge over the stream. Carry on across the fields to the co-ords.
