On Earth Day (April 22) 2017, JAGA's finest citizens particpated in a CITO event that cleared so much garbage from this area that we ran out of trash bags. Instead of planting a tree, we decided to hide a cache.

There is parking on both sides of the road, with slightly more space on the side with the spring. A brief walk down the trail will lead you to what you seek: an ammo box disguised with geocover. It's a really easy and enjoyable hike, with virtually no elevation gain.
Thanks to all who helped clean up this area and hide the cache! Hopefully it never gets as polluted as it once was.
