Bald Knob (Motuihe Island) Traditional Cache

Motuihe Island is an island paradise situated in the Hauraki Gulf, 30 minutes ferry trip from downtown Auckland.  Motuihe Island has sheltered bays, clear waters and white sandy beaches, making it great for swimming.  The Island is pest free and is also home to native New Zealand wildlife such as kiwi and tuatara.

This cache has been hidden at Bald Knob, which has some of the best views on the Island!  There is apparently a grave site for a farmer's dog near here, but I didn’t spot it.

The cache is a small plastic jar, containing only a logbook – so you will need to bring your own pen.
