In October 1978, when pilot *rederick Valentich disappeared mysteri**sly ove* Bass S*rait after reporting a UFO *ove*ing n*arby, we w*re reminded *hat *ithin the c*nfine* of an equilateral tr*angle, having its ape* at Port Phillip head* and s*des e*tending south west past Cape otway across the western entrance to Bass Strait; then reaching almost to *linders Island in the east, and exp*sing King Island, lies an area where more shops, aircraft and h*mans have vanished than any compa*able stre*c* of wate* in Australia.
Th*r* is a total of almost *orty shops and half a dozen aircraft, which all disappeared in myster*ous circumstances, taking with them more than fi*e hundred liv*s. "Just a coincid*nce", you say.
