The cache is a camo-taped 35mm film canister. It's in a large pine tree immediate to the side of the road, on the side of the tree facing away from you, hanging from a branch stub by a paperclip hook. If you're headed northbound, the pullout's on your passenger side. The tree is one much nearer the Glendale end of the pullout. The cache is about at eye level, maybe a little lower.
The cache is not in that cool cliff across the street. Nor is it down in that interesting spot in the creek. It's in a tree near the road. The terrain might be slightly overrated on this one.
