Satamasta matka alkaa. Polun alussa kyltti autot, mopot ja koirat kieltää mutta jalkamiestä se ei haittaa! Hiekka narskuu askelten alla, ranta uimareita hellii ja kesällä nurmikolla lomalaisia kellii. Mänty mahtavakin on järvelle kallellaan, uimaanko mielinee?
Koivukuja edessä on ja polku suoraan kulkee. Puiden lomasta Pielinen pilkistelee, vaarat komeat laineiden takana maisemaa somistavat.
