I've visited Spring Run park my whole life. Now I know what you're thinking. It's small. It's tucked away in a small neighborhood. What's so wonderful about this place? Well this parked has created hundreds, no, thousands of adventures. When I was really young, I'd spend hours on the seesaw and the swings. It was such a thrill! But when that got old, I kept exploring. Well who would've thought that there is so much wilderness. If you take a walk to the small stream past the field. You can find minnows hurriedly hiding from onlookers, frogs peering at you from the shadows, hawks watching your every move, deer moving about peacefully, and, if you're really lucky, you can find a lagoon filled with hundreds of tadpoles. So if you have some time, you should explore beyond the field and playground, then you'll find where the real nature is.
But for now, I've hidden this cache in a completely different location. I recently spotted a very short trail that I had never seen before and it reminded me that there is always more to explore. I thought it would be nice to give everyone in the geocaching community that same opportunity. The trail is very short and you can find the entrance on the edge of the field (no need for to much bushwhacking). Enjoy!
Congrats on surfcap for FTF!
