About a year ago we moved to a home not far from this cache. Right around that time my 8 yr old son and I also started Geocaching. The beauty of our drive each day past the cows, llamas and farms in the area, the incredible sunsets, and our own magnificent hilltop view caused us to secretly name our new home "Serenity". Couple that with the name of our dog, Simba, who has been on most of the geocaches we have done in the past year since my son and I started and thus you have...Simba's Serenity.
My son and I decided that this will be the first in a series of 10 - in honor of how many years we've had Simba. Sadly he was recently diagnosed with lung cancer so we're not sure how long he'll be with us.Rest assured he will cache on for as long as he can!
This should be a relatively quick and easy find. Plastic container with room for lots of swag! We left a FTF coin for the lucky finder. We also left another TB - pls be good about logging if you move along!
My 8 yr old son first fell in love with Geocaching when he found a rubber snake in our first find. So he's very diligent about leaving "good stuff" and we plan to make our series very kid friendly and snow friendly. Enjoy the views while you are there!
