One of a series of caches intended to encourage the use of the Kilmister Block track within Belmont Regional Park. The series is designed to be followed starting from the Belmont Regional Park car park at the top of Hill Road.
The farmer's efforts to remove the local gorse infestation have had mixed results. The sight at GZ is one which is typical across many New Zealand farms; dead gorse bushes spread across the hill, roots still firmly in place and the land still unusable for grazing stock. 'tis as plague on us all!!
The cache is a waterproof bison which contains a logsheet only. Please bring your own writing stick.
