Sam McGee, from Tennessee, had a bad case of the gold bug, but couldn't stand the cold of the mountains. Wanting to warm up during a snowstorm, he climbed in an old mine shaft and was never seen again. Rumor has it, he always kept a tight grip on his treasure.
