Geocache Description:

This geocache was placed by volunteers from the Rannoch and Tummel Tourist Association as part of a community event that takes place on the 7th of May 2017. The location also highlights the existence of a venerable Granny Pine, such trees, worthy of note, dot the landscape around the South Shore of Rannoch.

If you are following the "Yellow Route" from Carie, or perhaps made a dash over the ridge from the car park at Carie and taken in "The Road to the Isles", then this cache will keep you occupied. Located just off the track in a small area where lots of "rivulets" come together to make a stream, at least when it is raining heavily.
