Geocache Description:


St Mary's is the Church of England Parish Church of Wigton in Cumbria, offering a range of services in various styles and everyone is welcome. We have a fine robed choir, a committed group of bell ringers, an active Mothers' Union, and activities for children and young people of all ages. We have an electoral roll of 230 members.

St Mary's is a beautiful Georgian building of 1788 with a famous Harrison & Harrison organ, fine stained glass, beautiful interior galleries and a celebrated colour scheme. It is open every day and welcomes visitors.

9.30am Parish Eucharist and Children's groups (Common Worship). Mattins (BCP) on fifth Sunday of the month
4pm 'VISION' contemporary worship. First Sunday of the month only
6.30pm Sung Evening Prayer (Book of Common Prayer)

9.45am Holy Communion (Book of Common Prayer)
 
Wednesday
12.45pm Holy Communion (Common Worship)
 
Thursday
7.30am Holy Communion (Common Worship)
 
The cache is small nano magnetic type, please replace exactly as found.  You will need to bring your own pen and possibly tweezers to sign the log.
